Annual chapter Audit scheduled for Januraty 18,  2024

Chapter and Foundation Board meetings (currently held using ZOOM). Normally 9:00AM 2nd Thursday each month (CRC) except July & August. CRMF board meets quarterly (Jan, Apr, Jul, & Oct after CRC board meeting.) Board meetings are open to all members in good standing. If you desire to attend, please let CRC and/or CRMF President know show they can send you the ZOOM logon info

WHAT: Annual VA/ Personal Affairs Update

PROGRAM: Chapter member, Terry Babin, who served as the Mortuary Affairs Officer at Arlington National Cemetery, will discuss important changes affecting your Personal Affairs checklist and Surviving Spouse Liaison, Leah Davis will discuss “What to do before that day comes.” Also VSO (VA Claims) officer TBD to make presentation.

WHERE: Vancouver Barracks parade grounds (across from the Marshall House 1301 Officers Row, Vancouver, WA 98661)

WHEN: Ceremony starts at 11 AM (MOAA supplying coffee to the setup workers starting at 9:00AM)

WHAT: Annual Memorial Day remembrance of those members of the Armed forces who lost their lives serving our country in the line of duty.

PROGRAM: Presentations by local dignitaries; release of doves; cannon salutes for each service (if you bring dog be advised the cannon blasts are extremely loud); music by JBLM band. Hot dogs and chips provided and served by the Lions club; cookies provided by the Red Cross.
